Terms and Conditions

1. Booking and Reservation:

  • All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Captain Kerouac.

  • Reservations can be made online through our website or by contacting us directly.

  • A deposit may be required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.

 

2. Payment:

  • Full payment for the sailboat trip, including overnight stays and meals, is due prior to embarkation unless otherwise agreed upon.

  • Payments can be made via credit card, bank transfer, or other accepted methods as specified by Captain Kerouac.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy:

  • Please refer to our Reservation Refund Policy for details regarding cancellations and refunds.

 

4. Sailboat Charter:

  • The sailboat charter includes overnight stays and meals as specified in the booking confirmation.

  • Guests are responsible for their own personal expenses such as alcoholic beverages, souvenirs, and additional activities not included in the charter package.

 

5. Responsibilities of Guests:

  • Guests must comply with all safety instructions provided by the crew and adhere to the rules and regulations of the sailboat during the trip.

  • Guests are responsible for their own health and safety during the sailboat trip, including any activities such as swimming, snorkeling, or diving.

6. Liability:

  • Captain Kerouac shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage to persons or property arising from the use of its services, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence.

  • Guests are encouraged to purchase travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances.

 

7. Force Majeure:

  • Captain Kerouac shall not be liable for any delay, cancellation, or modification of services due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, adverse weather conditions, or government regulations.

8. Changes to Itinerary:

  • Captain Kerouac reserves the right to modify the itinerary or cancel the trip in case of unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, guests will be offered alternative arrangements or a refund as appropriate.

9. Indemnification:

  • Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless Captain Kerouac, its employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from their use of the sailboat services

 

10. Governing Law:

  • These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Bahamas.
